The unusual itinerary of Upper Brianza starts with the visit to the ancient Palazzo Beauharnais, where Viceroy Eugene, stepson of Napoleon, lived. It continues with an hour’s boat tour of Lake Pusiano, a town in which the painter Giovanni Segantini spent some years of his life, ending with a visit to Cypress Island, a small private paradise, home to unusual animals, such as kangaroos and peacocks.
